The Kytes Trust can provide funding for individual items of equipment for disabled people. There are certain eligibility criteria to be met – for example, applicants have to be in receipt of state benefits.
Application details can be found on the Charity Commission website, or by contacting Jill Homewood (j.homewood@remap.org.uk).
Dear sirmadam,
i have a friend who suffers for a disability called familial spastic parapleasia and is expecting her first child 27th jan 2013.
this is an exciting experience for any new mum but she lives with the fear of not being able to push her baby her self whilst out and about orbin her home. Shes currently in a non electrical wheel chair and is in reciept of benefits. I was wondering if possible to with be helped in trying to get a electrical wheel chair and pram attachment or even any ideas in how to raise this kind of money. I have a child my self and know it can be difficult at best of times for a healthy mum so would just like to help make her life a bit easier. Please write back id appreciate youre response thank you.
